Etched memories

Article by Ann Rose George Tharakan

Every couple is unique in their own way and working with each of them closely leads to an etched memory which we love to cherish.

Vidya and LP was one such couple who were so passionate about every detail, and that gave me, even more, a reason to get to know them and build a wonderful relationship.
A person’s senses are so intertwined with an experience and when we come across couples who are so zealous, we love to make it the most valuable moment which creates the nostalgia and the memories later on. It’s a blessing that we have always got lovely couples to work with and it always keeps us going.

Vidya and LP reached out to us almost 5 months before they were to get hitched. Since the couple came through a reference of another beautiful couple we worked with we were even more excited to reconnect with the same circle. The planning phase started with multiple meetings with the couple and their beautiful families discussing the various aspects that need to be put together before the big day. Detailing on the budgets and planning on the various layouts and designs for all events which are always a back and forth process.
We finally arrived at the most awaited day for all of us. The wedding was planned across 3 days, where day 1 was a small mehndi function at the bride’s residence with close family and friends, who got together for some fun and laughter. Then came the most awaited day The Wedding which was held at a venue called Templetree Leisure. The wedding followed the traditional South Indian style with a touch of traditional décor elements. The team worked together from the previous night to put together all that was planned for over the 5 months.
There is this one moment that I never get bored to watch, is to see the beautiful couple making their vows to each other. It’s a sight that gives me immense joy and gives me the inspiration to make couples dream come true.
Post the wedding, the next day was a day to just let loose and to get together for some fun and dancing with a rustic and quirky theme. Yes, it was the cocktail party that was planned in Bangalore Brew Works, a perfect space for a fun evening. With DJ Shine to make sure the dance floor was never left empty. This is where it is perfect to say “You can dance” – By Vodka!!
Well, the night ended with the couple sending out sky lanterns.
It often surprises me on how time just flies from the planning phase to the wedding day and I realise time is a thief of time itself where the big day goes by so quickly after an intense planning phase leaving behind some wonderful etched memories that we realise over time.
We are truly grateful to Vidya and LP and both their wonderful families for having given us this opportunity to be a part of your wonderful day. We wish you both a wonderful married life filled with a lot of adventure and fun and love.
